Reviews of Blood Kiss : "Love it.  Why?  It’s not the same-same vampire. You created an alternative life-style vampire which is unique. It *is* fresh and is not like just any other vampire approach."  Robert Greene, author Lamius Filius

"Sexy, erotic and monstrous, all at the same time... what more could a reader want?"  Deana Hoover, author of the award winning -- Sing To The Moon

Reviews of Cri du Couer - Great characters, great writing...an overall very solid, entertaining read, with a definite N'awlins feel and excellent description. Denker is certainly an engaging narrator and well worth revisiting in future books.  (Jeff Strand, author of The Andrew Mayham series of comedic horror novels)

"Dark & Compelling - Charboneaux has a flare for words, for descriptive prose." Susan Fenton, author the Red Vixen Series

Misc. Reviews : The Winter Mirror - A short story available from www.magellanbooks.com in the horror anthology ADUMBRA - "Not only is there imagery within this story but by surreptitiously referring the reader to A Picnic At Hanging Rock the reader has plenty to feast on, then build on with the reading. All our senses are used. Wonderful odours from spoiled eggs to beer, and that’s just to describe available singe men. Then the imagery is continually tweaked: not just a mist, not just a morning mist, but a rising morning mist. Also the little observations we all make but rarely see in print are here. Eg the fragments of chipped paint in which once we see a face, we always see it. Excellent; as are clever phrasing such as "sense of free-floating desperation.  [Charboneaux's] stands out above the others."  (Geoff Nelder, author of No Way, soon to be a motion picture & Escaping Reality)

MY WORK -- Blood Kiss - A vampire in love will go futher than any human can, or any vampire should, to keep his beloved at his side.  But when your new lover is more monstrous than even a vampire's worst nightmare - what can you do?

Cri Du Coeur - Dick Denker, a private eye in New Orleans, becomes obsessed with finding the reason for the suicide of the lovely singer Martinique.  Along the way he'll find himself traversing the undergrounds of NO's Mafia and Voodoo communities, and in the end, will his answers be enough to still the guilt of his best friend's death?

8 City Tales : Darkness Visible -  A book of short stories with something for everyone - mainstream, mystery, sci-fi, horror - a war with shapeshifts almost decimates humanity; a serial killler explains himself; heaven & hell being too crowded there's a new destination for the lukewarm, but even there free will still works - these are just some of the stories in this "great little read" of a book. All were either published in print publications or placed in national competitions prior to this publication, except for three written especially for the release of this book.
